The program aims to serve approximately 80 clients by maintaining increased capacity in full-time equivalents (FTEs). The service will utilize a HUB and Spoke model to ensure statewide coverage. The budget has been determined based on actual costs from previous agreements with the provider, MaineHealth DBA Maine Medical Center.

The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

The services will be performed statewide in Maine.

Bidder Requirements

The selected vendor, MaineHealth DBA Maine Medical Center, was chosen as a single source/unique vendor due to their development of the PIER Program which qualifies as an Evidence-Based Practice. Future competition for this service will include any willing and qualified provider after establishing a MaineCare rate.
