Akhiok Airport Maintenance

Background

The State of Alaska, through the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), is issuing a solicitation for the Akhiok Airport Maintenance Contract, Project Number 26-25SC-1-001. The DOT&PF's mission includes ensuring the safety and efficiency of transportation systems in Alaska. The goal of this contract is to provide routine maintenance services for the Akhiok Airport facility, which includes maintaining equipment, building structures, and roadways on airport property.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, and local supervision necessary to perform routine summer and winter maintenance of the airport facility. This includes preventative maintenance on equipment owned by the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities. The scope of work encompasses maintaining building structures and roadways located on airport property unless otherwise designated. The contract may be renewed for five additional one-year periods at the state's discretion.

Period of Performance

The completion date for this work is set for June 30, 2027. The contract may also be renewed annually for up to five years.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Akhiok Airport, Alaska.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a valid Alaska business license at the time of contract award. They are required to submit evidence of this license along with their quotes. No bid bond, payment bond, or performance bond is required unless the project exceeds $100,000. Additionally, bidders claiming preferences (Alaska Bidder Preference, Alaska Veteran's Preference) must complete the respective certification forms.
