Security Fence

Background

Lincoln Electric System (LES) is seeking bids for the furnishing and installation of a security fence according to LES Specifications S-26-12. The goal of this contract is to enhance security measures for LES facilities.

Work Details

The successful bidder will be required to furnish and install a security fence as per the specifications provided in the bid solicitation. This includes completing the LES Standard Construction Contract, providing proof of insurance with specified coverage, and submitting a performance and labor and material payment bond from a licensed surety. The contractor must also return a completed Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Request Form. The work involves all necessary supervision, labor, transportation, tools, and equipment to perform the installation in accordance with the plans and specifications outlined in the contract documents.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at locations designated by Lincoln Electric System in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of insurance from an insurance company licensed in Nebraska with a minimum rating of B+ by A.M. Best. They must also furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed in Nebraska with at least a B+ rating by A.M. Best. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with the Nebraska Fair Employment Practice Act.
