Background The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Application Technology Research Unit (ATRU) in Wooster, Ohio is conducting research to develop an automatic system for nursery inventory. This project is partially funded by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) and North Carolina State University. The goal of this contract is to procure SmartApply smart sprayer components necessary for building prototype systems that will assist in counting trees, utilizing parts that were originally developed at the USDA ATRU. Work Details The contractor is required to provide and deliver SmartApply brand name components for four prototype systems. The specific items and quantities are as follows: - Quantity of 4: BU48278 – Ruggon Tablet Kit - Quantity of 4: BU48522 – Ruggon Tablet Accessories Kits - Quantity of 4: BU48518 – LIDAR Harness Kit, Smart Apply - Quantity of 4: ISS61001105 – Harness, 50" Gen2 GPS Antenna - Quantity of 4: ISS6100123 – Harness All items must be new and have clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). A Certificate of Conformance (COC) must be provided, along with necessary certifications including traceability to the manufacturer.
