Summary: Background The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking to repurpose a basement storage room in their Northern District of Indiana office located in South Bend into a training room for mission-critical office safety training. To facilitate this, the contract aims to remove and dispose of all old equipment and furniture currently stored in that area. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the breakdown, removal, and donation/recycling of all old USMS equipment and furniture from the basement storage room. The specific items to be removed include: 1) 6' x 6' panel safe (1 unit), 2) decrepit vehicle trunk safe (2 units), 3) ProMaxima gym equipment (10 units), 4) monitor stands (2 units), 5) miscellaneous vehicle parts (5 units), 6) metal/wood shelving racks (4 units), 7) wood furniture cabinets (5 units), 8) metal filing cabinets (10 units), 9) metal filing cabinet with lock (1 unit), 10) Haier mini fridge (1 unit), 11) Culligan office water tank holder (1 unit), and 12) office tables (5 units). All onsite contractors must pass a basic background check, and work shall not commence until all personnel are vetted by USMS. The vendor must conduct all work during normal business hours, Monday through Friday from 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
