Summary (Newest Update)

Background The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21) is issuing a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract for the service and maintenance of the GT REVOLUTIONARY CT SYSTEM at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the equipment is maintained by certified technicians from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), General Electric, who are qualified to provide compatible parts and services. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing service and maintenance for the GT REVOLUTIONARY CT SYSTEM. This includes ensuring that all parts and services are compatible with the equipment as specified by General Electric. The technicians performing these services must be OEM certified. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System located in North Las Vegas, NV. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide an authorized letter indicating their capability to perform services on the equipment. Interested firms must indicate their business size status (large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a), or woman-owned) and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. There are no specific security clearances or licenses mentioned; however, bidders should have technicians that are OEM certified. Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail) This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on the closely related prior award VA797H17D0024-36C24425F0279, awarded to GE Precision Healthcare for $263,208 with a period of performance from 07/25/25–07/24/27. The prior work covered preventive maintenance and full services for GE Revolution CT and the associated Workstation Advantage, which aligns with the current requirement for OEM-certified service and maintenance of the GT Revolutionary CT System at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System. The new one-year period beginning 08/01/2026 suggests continuation of ongoing equipment support under the same OEM maintenance scope.
