New Mobile Office for Waste Water Department

Background

The City of Sandersville, specifically the Public Works Department, is seeking proposals for an AI-based, end-to-end pavement inspection and management solution. The goal of this project is to provide the city with a comprehensive system for collecting and analyzing pavement condition data, which will support ongoing pavement management, budgeting, prioritization, and decision-making. The city maintains approximately 64 centerline miles of paved streets and highways and aims to enhance its capabilities in managing these assets effectively.

Work Details

The selected vendor will provide a complete solution that includes: 1. A mobile LiDAR- and imagery-based data collection approach to develop a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for each street segment. 2. A GIS-based enterprise asset management software platform that allows the city to manage and analyze the pavement condition database. 3. Initial data collection and a long-term user-accessible system for municipal staff to analyze roadway conditions. 4. Continuous International Roughness Index (IRI) data from connected vehicles for ongoing monitoring. 5. Support for sidewalk GIS layer creation, distress rating, and budgeting scenarios. 6. AI-assisted processing of collected data with manual verification for accuracy. 7. Recommendations for maintenance treatments based on PCI assessments. 8. Software capabilities including intuitive interface, web-based access, unlimited user licenses, automated notifications, repair planning, budget scenario analysis, and integration with existing municipal systems.

Period of Performance

The project is expected to commence upon selection of the vendor with a target completion date for data collection by February 1, 2027, and overall contract completion by April 1, 2027.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within the City of Sandersville, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with O.C.G.A § 13-10-91 regarding E-Verify registration and must submit a completed W-9 form along with their proposal. Proposals should include total project costs and estimated start dates.
