Background

The University of Southern Mississippi is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of two complete ARRI ALEXA 35 camera systems, including ARRI Premium Production Package accessories and comprehensive ARRI lens packages. This initiative is part of the Visualization and Digital Multimedia Outreach grant (ViDMO) aimed at producing premium content focused on the Blue Economy. The ARRI ALEXA 35 is recognized for its superior image quality, color science, low-light performance, and highlight retention, making it a preferred choice in high-end cinema production.

Work Details

The contract includes the following items: - 2 x ALEXA 35 camera bodies - 2 x Premium Licenses - Permanent - 2 x ARRI LPL Mounts (LBUS) - 2 x ARRI PL-to-LPL Adapters - 2 x Balance Utility Dovetails (BUD-1) - 2 x B-Mount Battery Adapters - 2 x Multi Viewfinders (MVF-2) - Various cables and power supplies including Camera Power Cable Straight (2m), Power Distribution Module (PDM-1), and others. - Production Support Sets for Top, Side, and Bottom configurations with multiple components such as brackets and plates. - CODEX Compact Drive Readers and Drives, ARRI Ensō Prime Kits, Signature Zoom lenses, LMB Clamp-On Sets, Smart Focus Ring Sets, cforce mini Basic Sets, and various support rods.

Period of Performance

The contract will be executed over a three-year period from the date of award.

Place of Performance

The equipment will be delivered to The University of Southern Mississippi located at 118 College Drive #5003, Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a minimum of three customer references from higher education institutions that have implemented similar solutions in the last 12 months. Proposals must be written in English and structured appropriately with sequential page numbering.
