Background

The City of Palm Coast is issuing this Invitation to Bid for the WWTF No.2 Membrane Replacement project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the wastewater treatment facility's efficiency by replacing outdated membrane technology. This aligns with the city's mission to maintain and improve its infrastructure for better environmental management.

Work Details

The Contractor shall perform the removal and disposal of existing Ovivo membrane cassettes and install City-furnished Kubota membrane modules within four (4) Phase 1 MBR tanks at WWTF No. 2. The Contractor is responsible for providing all associated piping supports, air and permeate piping, membrane cassette supports, fittings, and any other necessary appurtenances to ensure a fully functional system as designed and specified.

Period of Performance

The total construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is one hundred and fifty (150) consecutive calendar days from the date of the 'Notice to Proceed.' An additional thirty (30) consecutive calendar days are allowed to achieve Final Completion.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the City of Palm Coast Wastewater Treatment Facility No. 2.

Bidder Requirements

A Bid Bond must accompany each bid if the bid amount is one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) or greater, for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond equal to the Contract Price, along with a Material and Workmanship Bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract Price.
