Background

The City of Tallahassee, Florida, is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide vehicle towing and storage services for all City-owned vehicles. Work Details

The Contractor shall provide the following services: towing, transport, all forms of vehicle recovery, and storage services for City-owned vehicles. Charges for vehicles towed and held as evidence or for forfeiture will be based on rates provided in response to this bid. Specific requirements include: - Responses to requests for service - Impoundment procedures - Towing methods and storage facilities - Posting and providing charges - Special provisions as outlined in the contract specifications.

Period of Performance

Commercial General Liability Insurance

$1 million per occurrence

Business Automobile Liability Insurance

$1 million per accident - Workers’ Compensation Insurance as per Florida Statutes. Bidders are also required to submit a Certification of Drug-Free Workplace Form with their proposal.
