The Ector County Public Works Department requires trucking and hauling services for various materials needed for county road projects and stockpile yards. This contract aims to facilitate the transportation of materials such as hot asphalt, caliche, crushed rock for chip sealing, water, and other road materials.

Work Details

The contractor will provide hauling services for various materials including hot asphalt, caliche, crushed rock for chip sealing, and water. The county seeks hourly rates for bell dumps and end dumps (12- and 18-yard loads), as well as water trucks equipped with spray bars. Rates must include standby time. Successful bidders will coordinate with the county supervisor for each haul, with daily sign-off required. Billing will occur bi-weekly through the normal county pay process.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon approval by the Ector County Commissioners Court and execution of all required documents. It will last for an initial term of one year with the possibility of renewal for an additional year upon mutual agreement.

Services will be performed within Ector County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must demonstrate experience in similar services and provide references from past projects. They must maintain all necessary licenses and permits throughout the contract term. The contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, supervision, materials, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the services described.
