Background

The School Board of Brevard County, Florida, is accepting sealed responses for the Music Instruments, Equipment, Furniture and Supplies Discount Catalog Bid (26-1033-B-AR). The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids to furnish music instruments, music equipment, furniture items, sheet music, and music-related supplies for various K-12 schools and departments throughout the district at firm fixed percentage educational discounts for use by the School Board.

Work Details

The contract will involve providing a variety of products including: music instruments, music equipment, furniture items, sheet music, and music-related supplies. Bidders must submit pricing in the form of a firm percentage discount from current published catalog prices or manufacturer’s price lists. All products must be new, latest models, first quality, and carry applicable manufacturer warranties. The bid aims to secure multiple vendors who can provide these items on an as-needed basis with inside delivery included.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and will remain in effect until July 14, 2026.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various schools and departments throughout Brevard County, Florida.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable federal and state laws. They are required to have proper licenses to do business in Florida and maintain those licenses throughout the contract duration. Additionally, bidders must not be on the Scrutinized Companies with Activities in Sudan or Iran lists as defined by Florida law.
