Summary: Background The Nicodemus National Historic Site, managed by the National Park Service, aims to preserve and interpret the history of the African American settlement established in Kansas during the Reconstruction era. This solicitation is for a construction contract to refinish the flooring of the Township Hall located at 304 Washington Avenue, Nicodemus, KS 67625. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for refinishing the wood floor in the Township Hall. This includes all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the task as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW). The work must adhere to applicable standards for preservation and restoration as outlined by the National Park Service. Period of Performance The geographic location(s) the construction projects will be performed (if provided) Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at Nicodemus National Historic Site; 304 Washington Avenue, Nicodemus, KS 67625. Bidder Requirements This acquisition is set aside for 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. Bidders must provide payment bond protection in the amount of 100% of the final contract award amount within 10 calendar days after award. Contractors must also possess any required performance and/or payment bonds. Additionally, bidders must have an active Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) at the time of quote submission and throughout contract performance.
