Background

The City of Moline is issuing this solicitation under the Strong Communities Program 2 (SCP2) to engage qualified contractors for a demolition and utility disconnection project at 715 23rd St., Moline, IL. This initiative aims to enhance public health and safety, eliminate blight, and foster neighborhood revitalization.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the demolition and utility disconnection of residential structures at the specified location. The project includes: 1) Demolition of the residence, shed, fencing, decks on both sides, and any necessary clearing of vegetation. Concrete foundation walls, footings, and flooring must be broken and removed. No debris from the structures can remain on site or be used as fill. 2) Utility disconnections including sewer and water at mains in the street with street cutting and patching included in the bid. All work must comply with City of Moline Codes and Ordinances. Permits must be obtained from the City of Moline Code Enforcement Department.
