TR26006 Reconstruction of Footways City Wide

Background

The City of Baltimore's Department of Transportation is issuing a solicitation for the TR-26006 Reconstruction of Footways City Wide project. The goal of this contract is to enhance the city's infrastructure by reconstructing footways, which are essential for pedestrian access and safety.

Work Details

The principal items of work for this project include: - 5” Concrete Sidewalk (113,000 square feet) - 5” Exposed Aggregate Sidewalk (3,500 square feet) - 7” Concrete Pavement (4,500 square feet) The required prequalification categories for bidding are A02601 PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE PAVING and D02620 CURB, GUTTER SIDEWALKS. The cost classification range for this project is between $1,200,000.00 and $1,600,000.00.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from the date of award until the completion of the project, with bids due on July 1, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed citywide in Baltimore, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements

All contractors must be prequalified by the City of Baltimore Office of Boards and Commissions. If a bid is submitted by a joint venture, documentation establishing the JV must be included. Additionally, there are MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) and WBE (Women Business Enterprise) goals set at 30% and 10%, respectively.
