Bus Transmission Supply for Public Transportation Department, Municipality of Anchorage

Background

The Municipality of Anchorage, through its Purchasing Department, is seeking bids for the supply of bus transmissions for its Public Transportation Department. The goal of this contract is to furnish rebuilt transmissions compatible with various models of buses operated by the municipality, ensuring reliable public transportation services.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following items: 1. Rebuilt Transmission Allison Part #29549630 S/N 73470680 - Quantity: 10 units (Generation 4 or compatible equivalent). 2. Rebuilt Transmission Allison Part #29560403 S/N 6511882751 - Quantity: 2 units (Generation 5 or compatible equivalent). 3. Rebuilt Transmission Allison Part #29571557 S/N 6512008524 - Quantity: 2 units (Generation 6 or compatible equivalent). 4. Core return reimbursement for 14 cores. All items must be new and come with a manufacturer's warranty if supplied by the manufacturer.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and continue until all items are delivered and accepted, with specific timelines to be established in the purchase order.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to the Municipality of Anchorage's Public Transportation Department located at 632 W. 6th Avenue, Suite 520, Anchorage, AK 99501.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable federal regulations including Buy America requirements and must not be debarred or suspended from federal contracts. Bidders are required to submit a completed Buy America certification with their bid. Additionally, bidders must acknowledge receipt of all addenda issued against this Invitation to Bid.
