Oracle Software Upgrade

Background

The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is issuing a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) to upgrade Oracle software and hardware systems. The goal of this contract is to enhance the security and functionality of the existing infrastructure by upgrading four Session Border Controllers to address a known vulnerability.

Work Details

The contractor will provide Oracle Services to upgrade both pairs of four Session Border Controllers. The specific tasks include: 1) Upgrading outdated firmware on both pairs of Session Border Controllers, 2) Providing a financial proposal with a detailed price breakdown, 3) Delivering a project plan that outlines step-by-step procedures and timeframes, 4) Ensuring remote access requirements are met, 5) Performing work after hours if it affects service.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed within 30 days after receiving the purchase order.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA), Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be certified as Small Businesses under Maryland law. The proposal must include compliance with all specified requirements, including submission through the eMaryland Marketplace Advantage (eMMA) system.
