Design - Architectural Services for Rockville High School ASTE Mechanics Lab Renovation

Background

The Vernon Board of Education (Vernon BOE) is seeking qualifications and proposals from qualified firms to provide architectural services for the renovation of the Rockville High School ASTE Program Mechanics Lab. This project is located at 70 Loveland Hill Rd, Vernon, CT. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facilities of the Mechanics Lab to better serve educational purposes.

Work Details

The services required under this contract include architectural design and planning for the renovation of the Mechanics Lab. Proposers must respond to both a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and a Request for Proposals (RFP), with submissions made in separate sealed envelopes. Each submission must include two copies of the proposal and one electronic copy on a thumb drive. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for June 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the project location, and attendance is required to avoid disqualification.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence on June 3, 2026, and conclude on July 14, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Rockville High School located at 70 Loveland Hill Rd, Vernon, CT.

Bidder Requirements

All vendors are eligible to respond to this bid. Proposers must ensure that their responses are submitted in compliance with the specified requirements including separate sealed envelopes for RFQ and RFP submissions.
