WIC Text Messaging System Acquisition

Background

The Department of Health is seeking to acquire a WIC Text Messaging System through RFP 4689. The goal of this contract is to enhance communication with participants in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, thereby improving service delivery and participant engagement.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing a comprehensive text messaging system that includes functionalities such as automated appointment reminders, nutrition education messages, and alerts for program updates. The system should support two-way communication between WIC staff and participants. Specific requirements include user-friendly interfaces, data security measures compliant with HIPAA regulations, and the ability to integrate with existing WIC databases.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 12 months from the date of award.

Place of Performance

Bidder Requirements
