Housing Rehab - Adair County

Background

The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of one home located in Adair County, Oklahoma. The agency's mission is to provide quality housing and related services to the Cherokee Nation community. The goal of this contract is to ensure necessary repairs, specifically roofing, are completed in a timely manner to enhance living conditions.

Work Details

The contractor will perform roofing rehabilitation work on a single-family home. The scope of work includes: 1) Tear out and replace 22.46 squares of composition laminated/architectural shingles; 2) Replace ridge cap shingles (76.76 LF); 3) Replace felt (30 lb.) underlayment; 4) Tear out and replace drip edge (175.56 LF); 5) Tear out and replace gutter apron (153.52 LF); 6) Replace starter row shingles (329.08 LF); 7) Remove and replace fascia (2"x8", 329.08 LF); 8) Tear out and replace gutters (32 LF); 9) Replace downspouts (10 LF); 10) Prime and paint flashing; 11) Provide a dumpster for debris removal. All work must comply with the provided work write-up, and the job must be completed within three working days from the notice to proceed.

Period of Performance

The contract work must be completed within three working days after the issuance of a notice to proceed, with work expected to begin within two weeks of notification.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at a residential property located at 83095 S 4653 Rd, Stilwell, OK, Adair County.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be certified licensed roofers who self-perform their work. To be considered responsive, bidders must complete the Mandatory Bid Response sheet and include proof of TERO certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office with their bid submission. Successful bidders will also need to comply with Tribal rules and regulations.
