Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for Ambulatory Electroencephalogram (aEEG) Technical Services as part of the National TeleEEG and TeleEpilepsy program (NTEEG-EP). The goal of this contract is to provide patients with faster access to aEEG services in areas facing long wait times or lack of qualified resources. This contract is set aside for small businesses. Work Details The Contractor shall provide qualified technical personnel, supervision, scheduling support, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, tools, travel, documentation, secure information handling, and a proprietary cloud-based interoperable platform to store and access EEG studies. The services will include: 1. 24-hour aEEG study with video 2. 48-hour aEEG study with video 3. 72-hour aEEG study with video 4. 24-hour aEEG study without video 5. 48-hour aEEG study without video 6. 72-hour aEEG study without video Ordered studies will primarily consist of 48-hour and 72-hour recordings. The Contractor must comply with applicable VA privacy and security requirements, Federal records management requirements, and clinical standards. Period of Performance The period of performance will be for one base year of 12 months with four optional years of 12 months each at the discretion of the Government. Place of Performance The primary place of performance is Northport, NY; however, services will also be provided at five additional locations as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Bidder Requirements Offerors must demonstrate technical capability by addressing all aspects of the Performance Work Statement in detail. They must provide company background including years of experience in providing aEEG services and details about key equipment used. Offerors must also have the capability to staff EEG technologists for in-home studies and comply with various standards including HIPAA privacy regulations.
