The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide complete professional design and construction administration services for the relocation of the campus central shipping and receiving area. The goal of this contract is to renovate and convert an existing space into a functional shipping and receiving area, aligning with the university's mission to enhance campus operations.

Work Details

The project involves renovating approximately 3,300 square feet in the existing bookstore storage area into the campus central shipping and receiving area. Specific tasks include: - Demolition of walls - Installation of acoustical ceilings - Modifications to some electrical circuits - Repurposing of doors - Relocating fire sprinkler piping - Applying final floor, wall, and ceiling finishes.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence following the selection process, with submittals due by June 22, 2026. The timeline includes a pre-submittal meeting on June 9, 2026, finalist notifications on June 24, 2026, and interviews scheduled for July 7, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke campus.
