Background The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) aims to provide high-quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to support the care of Veterans. Work Details The contractor shall provide all labor, travel, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals required for on-site full service planned maintenance and corrective maintenance (repair) of the Pyxis Medication and Supply System. This includes: 1. Full service planned maintenance and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations and Joint Commission standards. 2. Replacement parts, labor, and equipment necessary to keep the products performing according to specifications. 3. Software updates including bug fixes, error corrections, virus updates, minor enhancements, or modifications to maintain security or operation. 4. Software upgrades that include major enhancements or new features but do not include third-party software generally licensed separately. 5. Compliance with applicable federal laws including cybersecurity regulations. Period of Performance The period of performance will be 12 months from the date of award with four additional 12-month option periods available. Place of Performance Tasks will be performed at various VA facilities including: - Marion VA Medical Center, Marion IL - Evansville Health Care Center, Evansville IN - Madisonville Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Madisonville KY - Effingham Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Effingham IL - Mt. Vernon Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Mt. Vernon IL - Paducah Community Based Outpatient Clinic, Paducah KY. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with several requirements including: 1. Must have a valid security clearance if accessing national security programs. 2. Must enter into a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with VHA if accessing protected health information (PHI). 3. Contractors must ensure that all personnel complete VA security awareness training annually. 4. Contractors must provide written notification within four hours if an employee with access to VA information systems terminates employment.
