Lawn and Grounds Maintenance Services for Ft Bragg Region and Sanford Locations

Background

The North Carolina National Guard is seeking to award an Agency Specific Contract for lawn care services in the Ft. Bragg Region and Sanford locations. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper maintenance of the grounds owned by the National Guard, which includes several locations in Ft. Bragg and Sanford. The services are aimed at maintaining a professional appearance and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Work Details

The Lawn and Grounds Maintenance Services will include: year-round mowing, edging, trimming, debris and leaf removal, weed and grass control on the grounds and fences, maintenance of adjoining highway right-of-ways, and other related services. Specific tasks include: 1. Mowing lawns to a height of 2-3 inches as determined by the facility point of contact (POC). 2. Inspecting work sites for hazards before mowing. 3. Removing debris from downspouts and storm drains during every visit. 4. Cleaning grass clippings from sidewalks, patios, roads, and paved areas. 5. Collecting miscellaneous trash/tree limbs/debris during service visits year-round. 6. Providing all necessary equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, and labor to complete the services. 7. Completing a total of twenty-eight (28) service visits scheduled from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. 8. Maintaining a schedule that includes specific monthly visits (e.g., three visits in July, August, September; two visits in October and November; one visit in December; etc.). 9. Performing additional tasks such as bush-hogging when necessary with prior approval from the CFMO office.

Period of Performance

The contract will have an initial term of one year starting from the date of final contract execution (Effective Date), with options for renewal for up to two additional one-year terms at the discretion of the State.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations within the Ft. Bragg Region and Sanford locations in North Carolina.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State prior to entering into a contract with the State. They must also comply with requirements regarding HUB participation (10% utilization goal), background checks for personnel performing services under this contract, insurance requirements based on contract value, and must not subcontract any portion of work without prior written consent from the State.
