Pool of Licensed Professional Psychologists for Juvenile Probation

Background

Hidalgo County is seeking qualified respondents to provide services for a 'Pool of Licensed Professional Psychologists for Juvenile Probation'. The goal of this contract is to ensure that juvenile probation services are supported by licensed professionals who can address the psychological needs of juveniles in the system. This initiative aligns with Hidalgo County's mission to enhance the welfare and rehabilitation of youth under its jurisdiction.

Work Details

The selected contractors will provide psychological services including assessments, therapy, and consultation specifically tailored for juveniles involved in the probation system. These services must comply with all relevant state and federal regulations regarding juvenile justice and mental health. Proposals must address all requirements outlined in the attached 'Requirements/Specifications' document.

Period of Performance

The initial contract term will be for three (3) years, commencing on the date approved by the Hidalgo County Commissioners Court, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms under the same rates, terms, and conditions.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within Hidalgo County, Texas, specifically at locations designated by the Juvenile Probation Department.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must demonstrate compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. They must also provide proof of insurance as specified in the procurement packet. Additionally, vendors must be registered with SAM.gov and submit a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire (CIQ). The proposal must include a HUB Declaration to promote participation from Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE).
