Grandview Ave. Storm Water Improvements

Background

The City of Roseburg is issuing a contract for the Grandview Ave. Storm Water Improvements project, identified as Project Number 24PW11. The goal of this project is to enhance the storm water conveyance system within the city, which is crucial for managing storm water runoff and preventing flooding. Work Details

The work involves furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the installation of an extension of the City’s storm water conveyance system. Specific tasks include: - Installation of curb - Installation of gutters - Installation of six manholes - Installation of four catch basins - Installation of 12-inch storm pipe along with associated appurtenances The project also includes temporary traffic control devices and erosion control measures. In sections where rock is expected during storm pipe installation (approximately 11 feet deep), bidders may choose between conventional trenching or directional drilling methods. Additional work may be required as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance

The construction duration is set for 60 days from the commencement date, with a completion deadline no later than October 31, 2026.

The work will be performed on Grandview Avenue in Roseburg, Oregon.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be pre-qualified under Oregon law and licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. They must comply with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 regarding prevailing wage rates and submit a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 10% of their total bid amount. Additionally, bidders are required to have an employee drug testing program in place and complete pay equity compliance training if they employ 50 or more people for contracts over $500,000.
