Background

Tarrant County is seeking bids for an Annual Contract for Isilon and CloudPools Hardware and Software Maintenance specifically for the Information Technology Department. The goal of this contract is to ensure continuous support and maintenance of existing Dell PowerScale and Isilon hardware, software licenses, and related components. The contract will be awarded on an all-or-none basis.

Work Details

The vendor will provide manufacturer-supported Dell ProSupport service contracts covering all existing Dell PowerScale and Isilon hardware, chassis components, software licenses, CloudPools capacity modules, and OneFS software features. All bids must match the structure of the Line Items tab provided in the solicitation. The vendor must complete and upload the attached Exhibit A – F2026130 Tarrant County 2026 Dell PowerScale Isilon Pricing Response Sheet. Support services must include full entitlement, activation, and continuous coverage for specified assets throughout the contract term. All support services must be provisioned under the appropriate Dell support structure with accurate mapping of each service tag, serial number, and licensed OneFS software module to Tarrant County’s assets.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for twelve (12) months from November 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027, or from the date of award or notice to proceed as determined by the Tarrant County Purchasing Department.

The services will be performed within Tarrant County, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be authorized Dell partners/resellers and provide valid documentation such as a Dell authorization letter or partner certificate. All bids must not include provisional costs based on clauses like 'escalator' or 'cost-plus.' Vendors are required to maintain firm pricing for the entire term of the contract. Additionally, vendors must meet minimum insurance requirements including Workers' Compensation/Employer’s Liability, Commercial General Liability, and Auto Liability.
