Work Details

The contractor shall supply liquefied 19% Aqueous Ammonia (Ammonia Hydroxide), reagent grade or better, with a minimum purity of 99.99% by volume. The product must meet NSF 60 and comply with ANSI/AWWA B306-15 standards. The ammonia must not contain any impurities harmful to water treatment processes or that could affect taste or odor. Deliveries will be made to the Peele Dixie Water Treatment Plant located at 1500 State Road 7, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33317, where it will be discharged into an above-ground storage tank with a capacity of 8,800 gallons. Shipments are typically in increments of 45,000 lbs and must be made using tank trucks that comply with applicable regulations. Each delivery must include a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and weight certificates verifying the quantity delivered. The contractor is responsible for ensuring all equipment used in the transfer is free from contaminants.
