Plcb Shopping Carts

Background

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a Contractor to provide 360 shopping carts annually, as per PLCB specifications. These carts will be utilized in over 575 Fine Wine & Good Spirits Stores, supporting the agency's mission to manage the sale of liquor in Pennsylvania.

Work Details

The Contractor is required to provide 360 two-tiered shopping carts, specifically the InStore Products Limited Model IS2 or an equivalent model from another manufacturer. The specifications for the carts include: - E-Coat + Powder Coat finish in black - Handles that contain PLCB artwork - All carts must be shipped fully assembled The Contractor must also include brochures, drawings, specifications, and warranties with their bid if proposing an equivalent model. Additionally, if awarded the contract for an equivalent model, the Contractor must provide one sample cart for approval within three weeks of receiving a Purchase Order (PO). Delivery of the carts must occur no later than six weeks from receipt of a PO, with all delivery details coordinated with PLCB for logistical planning. Shipping costs will need to be reviewed and approved prior to PO creation.

Period of Performance

The contract term is one year from the Effective Date, with the option for renewal for four additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance

The shopping carts are to be delivered to a specific PLCB Maintenance Shop as needed.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must register as a 'Non-Merchandise' supplier in the PLCB's online Oracle Supplier Portal before submitting bids. They are required to complete various attachments including BID FORM BOP-1206 and other certifications related to worker protections and investment. Additionally, compliance with the Restrictions for Associations with Russia and Belarus Act 57 of 2023 is mandatory.
