SRTA Acquisition of a Ford F350 with Dump Body FY26

Background

The Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) is a tax-exempt public agency responsible for public transit services in ten communities within the Southeastern Massachusetts region. Funded through Federal, State, and local subsidies as well as farebox revenue, the SRTA operates under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 161B. The agency must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. The contract is subject to financial assistance agreements between SRTA and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MA DOT).

Period of Performance

The vehicle must be delivered by June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

Delivery is to be made to the New Bedford Maintenance Facility located at 65 Potomska Street, New Bedford, MA 02740.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must demonstrate responsiveness and responsibility in compliance with procurement guidelines set forth by the FTA. They are required to complete a Uniform Bid Sheet, provide a standard company quote, window sticker specifications, Federally required clauses, and a Debarment Certificate. Additionally, vendors must certify that they are not debarred or suspended from federal contracts.
