Business Development Marketing Communication Services

Background

The Office of Exposition Park Management (OEPM) is seeking a highly qualified consultant or firm to act as an execution-driven partner in business development, communication services, marketing integration, partnership management, and stakeholder alignment. The primary goal of this contract is to implement actionable strategies rather than provide advisory services. The selected contractor will be expected to develop and execute plans within the first quarter of the contract year for full implementation over the first 12 months, with additional plans for years 1-5 of a five-year planning process. This contract will commence upon approval from the Department of General Services (DGS) and is set to end on June 30, 2027, with a maximum budget of $500,000.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: - Developing and implementing an integrated business development and marketing strategy; - Identifying and securing revenue-generating partnerships; - Delivering measurable revenue outcomes; - Enhancing Exposition Park's market positioning; - Creating an updated branding strategy; - Optimizing sponsorship and commercial asset valuation; - Fostering stakeholder alignment; - Establishing systems for pipeline management; - Executing initiatives for tangible revenue outcomes; - Developing comprehensive communications strategies including content creation and event planning. Proposals must include a comprehensive approach to the scope of work, an organizational chart, experience with similar projects, and three case studies with references.

Period of Performance

The contract period will tentatively begin upon DGS approval and end on June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed remotely, at an offsite location, and at the OEPM offices located at 700 Exposition Park Drive, Los Angeles, California 90037.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have at least three years of experience in providing similar services. They are required to submit a minimum of two references to validate their experience. Bidders must also complete a Payee Data Record (Std. 204), provide proof of insurance, and submit various required documentation including a Bid/Bidder Certification Sheet and a Certificate of Insurance. Additionally, bidders claiming Small Business (SB), Microbusiness (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) status must provide current certifications.
