Camp Swift Automated Record Fire (ARF) Range

Background

The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking competitive sealed proposals for the construction of the Camp Swift Automated Record Fire (ARF) Range located in Bastrop, Texas. The goal of this contract is to modernize the power and data systems and repair existing concrete coffins associated with the ARF Range, which supports the mission of the TMD.

Work Details

The work includes providing all materials, equipment, labor, coordination, and supervisory activities necessary for the construction project. Specific tasks include: - Modernization of power and data systems - Repair of existing concrete coffins - Associated earthwork for the ARF Range. The project encompasses civil, electrical, mechanical, and telecommunications trades.

Period of Performance

The estimated cost of this project is $2,000,000.00 including options. The contract will be performed over a specified period as outlined in subsequent documents but is expected to commence following the award date.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at Camp Swift located at 1705 State Highway 95, Bastrop, Texas 78602.

Bidder Requirements

General Contractors must request Drawings/Plans and Specifications electronically via email. Vendors are required to attend one of two mandatory site visits scheduled for June 23 or June 24, 2026. Failure to attend will result in disqualification from bidding.
