Background

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is responsible for maintaining the air monitoring network that tracks particulate matter and other pollutants. This solicitation seeks bids for replacement parts necessary for the repair and maintenance of MetOne particulate matter instruments used in this network. The goal is to ensure the continued operation of these instruments, which are essential for monitoring air quality.

Work Details

The contract involves providing various replacement parts for MetOne air monitoring equipment, specifically: 1. Replacement Pump Assembly, MEDO, 120V, BAM 1022, MetOne Item #82044 or equivalent. 2. Pump tubing, Clear, 10mm O.D., 6.5mm I.D. polyurethane, 25’ roll standard MetOne Item #960025 or equivalent. 3. Digital Signal Cable, 597A Sensor to BAM 1022 Version 2, MetOne Item #82929 or equivalent. 4. Filter Tape, 25-meter roll, Whatman, MetOne Item #460180 or equivalent. 5. HEPA Filter, IN-LINE, 0.2 m, 1/4" NPT, MetOne Item #460134 or equivalent. 6. O-Ring kit for BX-802 PM10 Head (Set of 3), BAM 1022, MetOne Item #8965 or equivalent. 7. Flow sensor for use with BAM 1022, MetOne Item #82056 or equivalent. 8. Polytetrafluoroethylene Filter Tape, 50 meters long, MetOne Item #460185 or equivalent. 9. I/O Wiring Panel PCBA replacement for BAM 1022, MetOne Item #82970-1 or equivalent. All items must be new and of current production with a warranty period covering onsite system parts and labor for a minimum of two years from acceptance.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from the date of award until June 11, 2026.

Place of Performance

The goods will be delivered to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality located at 12100 Park 35 Circle, Bldg B, Austin, TX 78753.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable rules and regulations related to purchasing in Texas. They must have a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN) and provide proof of compliance with various certifications including non-boycotting Israel and not engaging in business with Iran or Sudan as per Texas Government Code requirements.
