Bucks County Consortium Fuel Purchase

Background

Lower Makefield Township, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is issuing a solicitation for sealed bids on behalf of various members of the Bucks County Consortium. The consortium includes multiple townships and boroughs in the region, aiming to procure fuel supplies to support their operations. The goal of this contract is to secure a reliable source of fuel for the participating agencies, ensuring they can meet their operational needs efficiently.

Work Details

The successful bidder will be required to supply the following quantities of fuel: - Approximately 673,000 gallons of Unleaded Regular Gasoline - Approximately 116,000 gallons of Unleaded Premium Gasoline - Approximately 68,700 gallons of #2 Heating Oil/Diesel Fuel - Approximately 368,500 gallons of Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel - Approximately 30,200 gallons of Off-Road Low Sulfur Diesel - Approximately 40,673 gallons of Propane. The fuels must meet all federal and state regulations and industry standards. Delivery charges will vary based on the quantity delivered and must be specified in the bid proposal.

Period of Performance

The contract term is from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to various locations as specified by each participating agency within Bucks County.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 10% of the estimated contract price along with their proposals. A performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount must be provided by the successful bidder within twenty days after award. Bidders are also required to complete a Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Notice of Non-Discrimination/Equal Opportunity Employer Affidavit with their submissions.
