Vinyl Banners and Signage for WI State Fair Park

Background

The State of Wisconsin, through the Department of Administration (DOA) and its Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS), is soliciting bids for the production of medium to large format and corrugated plastic printed signage for the Wisconsin State Fair Park (WSFP). The WSFP is a significant venue that hosts the annual Wisconsin State Fair, celebrating agriculture and other industries important to Wisconsin's history. The goal of this contract is to produce high-quality signage that enhances the fair experience for attendees. The contract aims to award multiple, multi-year contracts to ensure flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of WSFP.

Work Details

The awarded contractor(s) will be responsible for printing various types of signage, including medium to large format banners and corrugated plastic signs, according to provided specifications. The initial order will consist of banner signage that must be completed and delivered by July 10, 2026. All pricing must be all-inclusive, covering proofs, digital setup, printing, and shipping. Contractors must have equipment capable of producing large format banners with minimum dimensions of 55 inches in height by 49 feet in length. They must also provide single- and double-sided printing on vinyl banners and corrugated plastic signage that withstands Wisconsin weather conditions. Additionally, contractors are required to install grommets on banners and supply metal 'H' frame supports for corrugated signs.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and will run for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to four additional one-year periods based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

All work will be performed at the contractor's facility with completed products shipped to the Wisconsin State Fair Park located at 640 South 84th Street, West Allis, Wisconsin.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a minimum of two years' experience in providing and printing on specified materials. They must possess necessary equipment for large format printing and comply with quality control measures as outlined in the RFB. Bidders are required to submit proof of their ability to meet all specifications including art preparation time, proof submission timelines, and final approval processes. Use of subcontractors must be disclosed and approved by WSFP.
