Construction Services for Pearl River County Project

Background

The contract is issued by the Board of Supervisors of Pearl River County, Mississippi, for the construction of a bridge and approaches on Edmund Jones Road as part of the Local System Bridge Program (LSBP) Project No. LSBP-55(39). The goal of this project is to enhance local infrastructure and improve transportation within the county.

Clearing and Grubbing

1 LS - Removal of Precast Bridge at Station 10+65: 1 UN

Removal of Pavement

430 SY - Unclassified Excavation (FM): 110 CY - Channel Excavation (FM): 275 CY - Excess Excavation (FM): 55 CY - Granular Material LVM (Class 6, Group C): 350 CY

Crushed Stone 610

300 TON - Right-of-Way Markers (Type I): 6 EA

Maintenance of Traffic

1 LS - Reflectorized Traffic Object Marker (Encapsulated Lens) (Type 3): 4 EA Erosion Control Items include:

Agricultural Limestone

1 TON - Commercial Fertilizer (13-13-13): 0.5 TON - Seeding: 0.5 AC

Vegetative Materials for Mulch

1.5 TON

Solid Sodding

200 SY - Temporary Silt Fence (Type II) (AOS 0.15-0.84): 750 LF Bridge Items include: - Test Pile, 14" Prestressed Concrete: 2 EA

Conventional Static Pile Load Test

0 EA - Prestressed Concrete Piling (14”): 1060 LF - Preformed Pile Hole (18”): 220 LF - Precast Concrete Slab Units, various sizes and quantities as specified in the document.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 60 working days from the date of award.

Place of Performance

The work will be conducted in Pearl River County, Mississippi, specifically on Edmund Jones Road.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount made payable to Pearl River County and the State of Mississippi. Bidders are also notified that minority business enterprises will have full opportunity to submit bids without discrimination.
