Background The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is seeking to procure and implement an enterprise-level acquisition lifecycle solution known as Appian's Government Acquisition Management Suite (GAMS). The primary goal of this contract is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FDIC's acquisition processes. The FDIC aims to streamline its operations through this new system, which will replace outdated tools and improve compliance with internal policies. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for delivering a secure, enterprise-level acquisition lifecycle solution that includes three main modules: Contract Writing, Award Management, and Requirements Management. Key tasks include: 1. Developing, deploying, and maintaining the Acquisition System-Next Generation (AS-NG). 2. Providing program/project management, discovery and fit-gap analysis, configuration and development, data management, testing and quality assurance, security compliance, deployment support, training, and ongoing maintenance. 3. Creating interfaces with existing systems such as the FDIC’s training management system and financial systems. 4. Migrating data from legacy systems (Automated Procurement System and Consolidated Document Information System) to the new AS-NG platform. 5. Implementing Agile methodologies for iterative development with a focus on user-centered design. 6. Conducting usability testing to ensure the final product meets user needs effectively. 7. Ensuring compliance with security standards including FedRAMP requirements and providing necessary documentation for security assessments. Place of Performance The work will primarily be performed off-site at the contractor’s facility, with some onsite training required at FDIC offices located in Arlington, VA or Dallas, TX.
