Background The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Commercial Diver Training services. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive training for divers, including initial certification, refresher courses, and oversight services. This initiative aims to ensure that personnel are adequately trained in compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Work Details The Contractor shall provide the following training services: - Initial certification and refresher training for divers. - Classroom instruction and hands-on/in-water training. - Development of a training program compliant with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart T. - Coordination with the Bureau of Reclamation for access to facilities, equipment, and personnel. - Submission of a priced quote in response to each RFQ within 10 business days, including proposed training approach, schedule, class size assumptions, and required milestones such as classroom completion and certification. - Each task order will specify the type of training, number of participants, location, period of performance, total firm-fixed price, and required deliverables such as training records and attendance rosters. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period as determined by individual task orders issued under the IDIQ contract framework. Place of Performance Training may occur at government facilities such as Boulder City, NV; Boise, ID; or contractor-proposed locations.
