Transcript Evaluation Software

Background

The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is the largest education provider in Colorado, comprising 13 State Community Colleges that serve over 115,000 students across 35 sites. CCCS aims to modernize and streamline the transfer credit evaluation process through an official transcript evaluation and articulation management software solution. The goal is to enhance operational efficiency, improve communication among departments, reduce manual processing, and provide a transparent experience for students, faculty, advisors, and evaluators.

Work Details

The RFI seeks information on software solutions that can automate official transcript evaluations. Key requirements include: - Integration with Ellucian's Banner Shared Technology Platform (STP) - Support for various electronic transcript formats (e.g., Portage, Parchment) - Ability to articulate non-course credits (e.g., CLEP, AP scores) - Management of high school transcripts and academic records - Automated data harvesting into Banner fields - Workflow automation for approvals and notifications - Compliance with institutional standards. The software must also support imaging and indexing functions for record retention.

This RFI is for market research purposes only; no contract will be awarded based on this RFI. Future solicitations may follow based on the responses received.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the State of Colorado across all 13 community colleges under the CCCS.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must demonstrate how their software integrates with existing systems like Ellucian Banner SIS and Document Management System. They should also provide information on their security practices related to SOC 2 Type 2 certification and discuss any cooperative contracts they participate in.
