Work Order Construction Management Services for Parks Division

Background

The King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks, specifically the Parks and Recreation Division, is issuing this contract to provide construction management and inspection services on a work order basis. The goal is to ensure that the necessary construction management services are available as needed, with the flexibility to add disciplines as required by specific work orders. There is no guarantee that all services outlined in the Scope of Work will be utilized.

Work Details

The Consultant will provide professional services on a work order basis, which may include but are not limited to: construction management, project oversight, inspection services, and coordination of various disciplines as required by the County. The exact scope of work will be defined in individual work orders issued under this agreement. The Consultant must be prepared to adapt quickly to meet the needs of these work orders.

Period of Performance

The contract has a period of performance of two years with two additional options to extend for two years each, allowing for a maximum duration of six years.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within King County, Washington.

Bidder Requirements

The Consultant must comply with M/WBE aspirational goals as specified in the agreement. Additionally, they must demonstrate Good Faith Efforts in subcontracting opportunities for MBE and WBE firms. The Consultant is also required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage throughout the duration of the contract.
