Background

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking bids for the procurement of one new 2027 Freightliner 114SD plus tandem flat bed equipped with an IMT 3220RCS K6 crane and a VanAir UDSM 185 CRM air compressor. This contract aims to enhance the operational capabilities of the St. Louis District by providing a specialized vehicle that meets specific performance requirements. The goal is to ensure timely delivery and compliance with MoDOT's standards.

Work Details

The contractor is required to provide one (1) new 2027 Freightliner 114SD plus tandem flat bed, which includes: - Engine: Cummins X12, 500 HP @ 1900 RPM, 1700 lb-ft @ 1000 RPM. - Transmission: Allison 4500 RDS automatic with PTO provision. - Crane: IMT 2320RCS articulated crane with RCL Safety System and wireless Scanreco radio remote control.

Air Compressor

VanAir UDSM 185 CFM air compressor integrated into the chassis. - Delivery location: 2309 Barrett Station Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021 Bld. E, no later than June 1, 2027. - Warranty coverage for cab and chassis for a minimum of five years or 150,000 miles; engine warranty for a minimum of seven years or 150,000 miles.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence from the date of contract award through June 1, 2027.

Place of Performance

The delivery location for the truck is specified as 2309 Barrett Station Rd, Ballwin, MO 63021 Bld. E.
