Landfill Services

Background

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking bids for landfill services to support the St. Louis District, which includes St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, and the City of St. Louis. The goal of this contract is to provide landfill services on an as-needed basis to manage waste effectively in these areas. This is a multi-award bid, allowing multiple suppliers to be selected.

Work Details

The contractor will provide landfill services for various types of waste including: 1) Compactible Household Refuse; 2) Non-Compactible Demolition and Construction Waste; 3) Mixed Waste (combination of compactible and non-compactible); 4) Small Loads (one ton and smaller); 5) Soil, Rock, Shingles, and Concrete; 6) Brush (maximum size 3" diameter and 10' length); 7) Yard Waste (small loads of 2 cubic yards and smaller); 8) Municipal Solid Waste; 9) Mulch/Mulch Debris. Each service will include tipping fees, Missouri solid waste fees, environmental fees, and applicable county waste fees.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and continue through June 30, 2026. There is an option to extend the contract for two additional one-year periods.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed in the St. Louis District Counties: St. Louis County, St. Charles County, Franklin County, Jefferson County, and the City of St. Louis.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders are encouraged to include participation from minority business enterprises (MBE) and women business enterprises (WBE). Additionally, service-disabled veteran businesses (SDV) are recognized under this solicitation. Bidders must be registered in MissouriBUYS to be considered for contract award.
