Background The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), part of the National Institutes of Health, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services at its Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment for staff and visitors, supporting the agency's mission in environmental health research. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, and supplies to perform janitorial services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include: 1. Continuous janitorial services during operating hours (Monday-Friday). 2. Daily cleaning outside of operating hours. 3. Twice-weekly cleaning during normal working hours. 4. Monthly cleaning outside normal hours. 5. Quarterly cleaning outside normal hours. 6. Semi-annual cleaning during specified working hours. 7. Annual cleaning during specified working hours. 8. As-needed services concurrent with regular tasks. 9. On-call services as required by the PWS, including special event support and cleaning interstitial spaces. Period of Performance The contract period spans from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031, with options for additional years extending through December 31, 2031. Place of Performance The services will be performed at the NIEHS facility located at Research Triangle Park (RTP), North Carolina.
