Background The solicitation is issued by the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) with the goal of establishing an on-site maintenance agreement for preventative maintenance (PM) services, repair, and replacement parts for a Government-owned Colenta X-ray Film Processor, model no. M43IC. This contract aims to ensure the operational readiness and reliability of the equipment located at NAS North Island, San Diego, CA. Work Details The contractor is required to provide a fully trained Field Service Technician (FST) capable of performing all aspects of preventative maintenance and repair in compliance with OEM specifications. The PM services will occur monthly, up to twelve times per year, at FRCSW’s discretion. Specific tasks include: overall inspection of equipment integrity and performance; cleaning of various components such as wash racks and tanks; adjustment and replacement of consumable parts; lubrication of moving parts; running test films after chemical replenishment; and ensuring all materials are shipped via traceable means to the designated service location. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, and materials for these services. Period of Performance The period of performance for the base contract is one year from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with options for four additional one-year periods.
