DOF - Central Region Offices Cleaning 2026-2027

Background

The Virginia Department of Forestry is seeking a single contractor to provide office cleaning services for multiple locations. The agency's mission includes maintaining the health and sustainability of Virginia's forests, and this contract aims to ensure clean and well-maintained office environments for its staff. The contract period is set from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.

Work Details

The contractor will provide cleaning services for the following locations: - 1050 Cowford Rd., Halifax, VA 24558 (1,300 square feet) - 880 Old Cox Road, Boydton, VA 23917 (1,248 square feet) - 1549 Francisco Road, Dillwyn, VA 23936 (1,600 square feet) - 2205 Main Street, Victoria, VA 23974 (approximately 1,000 square feet). The services will include: 1. Dusting/wiping down all horizontal surfaces. 2. Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping all floors as applicable. 3. Cleaning all bathrooms and offices. 4. Trash removal. The contractor must supply all cleaning supplies, tools, and chemicals required for the job; however, the Virginia Department of Forestry will provide essential goods such as toilet paper and trash bags. A maximum of 27 cleanings will be performed during the contract period on a roughly bi-weekly basis depending on actual need.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance

The cleaning services will be performed at four locations in Virginia: Halifax, Boydton, Dillwyn, and Victoria.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a per cleaning bid price on the provided pricing grid within the solicitation. They are required to complete a Vendor Data Sheet with their bid submission. All bids must be submitted electronically via eVA; mailed or hand-delivered bids will not be accepted.
