Food & Nutrition Material Handling Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Background

Mesa Unified School District is seeking to contract with a vendor to provide maintenance and repair services for material handling equipment and lift gates located at the Food & Nutrition Warehouse. The goal of this solicitation is to ensure that all equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, and related systems, remains safe, reliable, and fully operational to support warehouse and food distribution operations.

Work Details

The vendor will provide maintenance and repair services for material handling equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, and lift gates. The proposal must include labor rates, service response times, and any applicable discounts for parts and materials. The vendor is expected to deliver consistent and timely service while applying proposed pricing uniformly across all covered equipment.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and continue until the completion of the required services as specified in the solicitation documents.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Food & Nutrition Warehouse of Mesa Unified School District located in Mesa, Arizona.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable state executive orders and federal laws regarding non-discrimination. They must also obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card if providing services at District schools regularly. Compliance with federal immigration laws through the E-Verify program is required. Additionally, bidders must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
