Rocky Gap State Park

Background

The Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT) is issuing this Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) to obtain data telecommunications services that will provide connectivity to various State locations served by a State data aggregation facility. The goal is to ensure reliable internet service delivery across these locations, as detailed in Attachment 5. Future requests for additional services will be managed through subsequent PORFPs under the Data Telecommunications Master Contract.

Work Details

The contractor will provide data telecommunications services from specified State aggregation points (Location A) to termination points (Location Z) as outlined in Attachment 1. The services must meet or exceed the technical requirements specified in Section 2.3 of the Data Telecommunications Services Master Contract RFP No. F50B4400028. Key personnel must be provided within thirty days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The contractor is responsible for maintaining end-to-end network availability at a 99.7% uptime and providing 24/7 maintenance support. Transition-in and transition-out plans must be developed by a project manager assigned to oversee service delivery, with a transition-in period not exceeding 60 days after NTP.

Period of Performance

The performance period for this contract is anticipated to be two years, commencing upon execution of the purchase order.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations within Rocky Gap State Park, Flintstone, MD, specifically including the Camp Office and Nature Center.

Bidder Requirements

There are no specific MBE goals applicable to this purchase order. Contractors must comply with all terms and conditions of the Data Telecommunications Services Master Contract issued by the State of Maryland’s Department of Information Technology.
