Background

The Tri-County Natural Gas Authority, located in Union Point, Georgia, is seeking bids for an annual contract focused on the construction of natural gas infrastructure. The mission of the Authority is to provide reliable natural gas services to its community. The goal of this contract is to facilitate the construction of natural gas mains and service lines, ensuring that necessary connections and related work are completed efficiently.

Work Details

The project entails the construction of natural gas mains and service lines. This includes related work such as service connections, site work, erosion control, and traffic control as required to complete authorized tasks. The Authority will supply all necessary gas system materials for installation by the contractor, which includes: - Pipe - Pipe detection wire - Valves - Fittings - Service tees - Service risers - Meters - Regulators

Period of Performance

The contract will be executed over a one-year period with options for annual renewal up to a total of five years.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in Union Point, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must hold a Georgia State Utility Contractor's License in compliance with O.C.G.A. 43-14 and 43-41. Proposals must include evidence of this license on the outside of the sealed proposal; failure to do so will result in rejection. Additionally, bidders must be current subscribers to the Subscribed Regulatory Compliance Service (SRCS) Operations Qualification Program and provide satisfactory evidence upon request.
