Background The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) Outpatient Surgery Department provides various outpatient surgery services for veteran patients, including podiatry, orthopedic, vascular, and ENT services. Due to increasing patient demand, the existing administrative spaces are required to be converted into examination rooms to accommodate the growing number of veterans needing care. The goal of this contract is to facilitate proper care by reconfiguring these spaces into standardized general-purpose exam rooms. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for construction tasks that include: - converting existing administrative spaces into examination rooms equipped with necessary plumbing fixtures and exam lights; - dividing large underutilized spaces into two separate exam areas; - ensuring compliance with healthcare standards for outpatient facilities. The work will be performed at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System campus located at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Period of Performance The contract performance period is expected to commence upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and is anticipated to last for 120 calendar days.
