Background The Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (JMTC) at Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) requires a purchase order for degreasing solvent, degreasing solvent tanks, and periodic scheduled waste disposal of the solvent. The goal of this contract is to ensure the provision of a 100% recycled degreasing solvent that meets Mil PRF-680 TYPE II specifications, along with maintenance services for parts washers used throughout JMTC. Work Details The contractor will provide the following: - 10 each Manual Operated Benchtop Parts Washers, 30” x 15.5” x 7”, 5-gallon capacity, with adjustable stand and flow-through brush in hose, serviced on an 8-week interval. - 20 each Manual Operated Vat Parts Washers, 45” x 24” x 9”, 32-gallon capacity, with flexible metal spigot and spray nozzle hose, fusible link safety lid and lamp, serviced on an 8-week interval. - 1 each Automatic/Manual Operated Agitation Parts Washer, 52” x 37” x 14”, pneumatically operated, 80-gallon capacity, with pump and flow-through brush, serviced on a 16-week interval. - 3 each Customer Owned Tanks, 180-gallon capacity, serviced on a 16-week interval. Contractor personnel will also be responsible for removing and disposing of dirty solvent and sludge, replenishing with clean degreasing solvent, conducting inspections and maintenance on parts washers including repairs or replacements as needed. Period of Performance One (1) year contract from the date of contract award with four (4) additional option years. Place of Performance Rock Island Arsenal locations including Bldg 222 (RIA 26208), Bldg 212 Plating (RIA 31684), and Bldg 208 Basement Sonic Cleaning Area.
